Location: Newburgh, IN (Evansville area)
Employment Type: Full-time, Part-time, Contract
Pay: $145–$175 per hour + Performance Bonuses
About the Role:
Cady Wellness Institute is seeking a passionate and highly skilled Functional Medicine Nurse Practitioner — ideally with psychiatric training or a strong interest in integrative mental health. If you’re ready to practice comprehensive, patient-centered care outside the limits of traditional managed care, we invite you to apply.
This is a Master’s-level position (APRN or FNP required). Applicants must be enthusiastic, motivated self-starters eager to practice to the full extent of their license within a collaborative, fee-for-service environment. We seek individuals who value continuous learning, clinical excellence, and the ability to blend functional and allopathic medicine thoughtfully.
Who We’re Looking For:
- An APRN, FNP, or Psychiatric NP with a strong foundation in traditional allopathic medicine and/or a keen interest in functional and integrative approaches.
- A self-motivated clinician passionate about holistic health, mental wellness, hormone optimization, and precision diagnostics.
- Someone comfortable with independent practice, complex case management, and ongoing professional development.
- A dynamic communicator and team player with a warm, compassionate approach to patient care.
- An individual committed to working hard, growing their patient base, and being compensated accordingly, with no cap on earnings. Earnings are based on their
productivity.
Scope of Practice:
- Manage your own panel of patients independently (not as a “physician extender”).
- Collaborate with senior clinicians as needed while building your own practice within our model.
- Apply both allopathic and functional diagnostic and therapeutic methods.
- Utilize advanced testing (OAT, hormone panels, genetic testing, allergy testing, mold/mycotoxin testing, and more) — training provided if needed.
- Diagnose and treat both psychiatric and general wellness conditions, integrating functional and conventional approaches.
Key Skills and Experience:
- APRN/FNP certification and active licensure required.
- Strong foundation in psychiatry and mental health care, or willingness to gain expertise quickly.
- Familiarity with hormone balancing, nutritional assessments, and advanced diagnostic testing (or willingness to learn rapidly).
- Membership in functional or integrative medicine organizations (e.g., IFM, A4M, AMMG is a plus).
- NEI Master Psychopharmacology certification is highly desirable.
Ideal Candidates Will Also Have:
- Marketing and community outreach skills.
- Public speaking and patient education abilities.
- High emotional intelligence, excellent communication skills, and a positive, resilient attitude.
- Team player mentality.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and intellectual curiosity.
- Commitment to continued education and professional development.
