Cookie is our delightful English Cream Golden Retriever and an adored member of the CWI family. At just a year old, she has been joyfully working alongside us since the fall of 2025, spreading comfort and cheer to everyone she meets.
While Cookie hasn’t completed formal therapy training, she’s been a quick study, learning the ropes from Kitt, our beloved seasoned therapy dog. With her gentle nature and playful spirit, Cookie offers a warm greeting to guests as they arrive, provides fun and stimulation for younger patients, and often curls up in the laps of those who could use a little extra love and compassion.
When she’s not brightening days at CWI with her mom, our mischievous phlebotomist Heather, Cookie can be found racing around the yard with her four tiny humans or trying to sneak in a swim at the lake. Her joyful presence and big heart make her a treasured part of our team and a source of comfort for all who visit.
